Christmas Challenges

This weeks challenge on Daring Cardmakers is to make a white card with a splash of pink.This is my type of challenge as I could do pink and sparkly all day long. The snowflake and the embossed background were done at my craft club as I don't own a cuttlebug.





Next I made a tag for Tag your'e it
and this weeks theme is 'Snow is falling. Used another snowflake die, Sandylion paper and Let it Snow sentiment.I also used a lot of glitter which doesn't show up very well.

Did someone mention Coffee?

Anyone who knows me is aware that I get very twitchy without regular visits to Costa/Starbucks (cinnamon latte is the current fave), so when I saw this weeks DCM challenge I thought I would join in for the very first time.It was simply to make a coffee inspired card, so here it is: I used BG phoebe paper and perfect pearls for the 'froth' I've also used lots of glitter but it hasn't shown up very well in the photo - and I've used one of my favourite sentiment stamps

I have known about this birthday for months, I'm very much looking forward to the party, so why why why do I leave it until 2 days before the big day to make his card. Answer - mens cards are PANTS to do. I have also got a fluey bug, but enough excuses. Here it is - male card with football theme

Tag Challenge

This weekend's challenge over on Tag Your'e It is to use red & green. This is the first time I have joined in and heres what I came up with. The stamp is by Penny Black and the background paper is MM Falala glittered poinsettia.

Cake Challenge

.....not a real one - I don't think I've actually made a cake since about 1982. But, I've really enjoyed making these cupcake cards.

Mini Christmas planners

I made these using my BIA machine and sectioned them off into 3 parts - Xmas Cards, Gifts and Food.

Gift card holders

I made these gift card holders using a peice of card measuring 13X17cm and folded at 4.5 & 5.5 from each end. I punched eyelets on the inside at each end and used a small peice of velcro to keep the card closed















I made this card for a friend who has just moved to a brand new house. She loves bling and sparkle so I thought this would suit.

Christmas Planner

I made this Christmas Planner at Scrap Revolution, using a mixture of Bo Bunny Holiday Magic papers and various embellies. Its held together by a couple of book rings with ribbons tied to it. Now........hopefully this will mean that I'll be organised for Christmas!
