Chirstmas 1992
This layout was inspired by my photo of me and James age 6 weeks. I dont have many Christmas photos looking back over the years. I really regret this, the ones I do have are often at the dinner table having Xmas lunch or just not very good, bad light, angle etc. Digital photography using a mobile phone has been a game changer and yet......I seem to be bad at recording Christmas. Anyway, this was taken when we lived in our flat in Windsor 28 years ago. Yes, I have a 28 year old son and I am now ancient lol. I used the Echo Park papers and a Holly punch. The edges have been roughed up and I have used gold wax to liven it up. I sort of used a sketch on pinterest with a few tweaks and changes, it took me over a week to be happy with it.
Christmas Cards
I honestly thought I'd never make another card again but, because of the pandemic and having time for crafting, I decided to give it a go. The blue ones are from a kit I bought last year from Loobi Crafts which I didnt get round to using. I love the colours and the design but the wording is a bit limited, no mention of Christmas, just 'warm winter wishes' etc. The green and red ones are a 12 x 12 scrapbook kit by Echo Park called 'My Favourite Christmas' and looking back, they produce very similar ones every year. I managed to make up less of these as I was beginning to run out of enthusiasm, but I did make a scrapbook page using these papers which I'll post in a bit.
