First Ever Scrapbook Layout
Yesterday I went to my first crop, taught by Amanda Jones, see her blog here. The kit was made up of Basic Grey's Indian Summer, (I gave in and bought the 6X6 paper pad - ideal for a Garden Journal) so I had to look out some autumny type photos to take along with me. Now, if I'm going to continue scrapping, I think I really need to work on my handwriting! I just put that we used to call James 'the bagpipes' when he wore this little tartan suit as it was so big for him and he looked a bit lost in it.

Well done on your first layout. It is really nicely balanced and your handwriting is fine, we all think out handwriting is terrible!
Well done on your first LO Clare!
You can get loads of free fonts off the net and always print those out instead x
Well one on diving in to scrapping - it's something I've never really got my head around! Your handwriting looks fine to me, I always like the personal touch of handwritten journalling, even if the handwriting is less than "perfect" - scrapping is about personal memories isn't it? So what better way to celebrate them than with your own writing!
That's a great layout- i like the colours and the placing of the photos -Hope you'll do lots more now!
well done on your 1st lo :) all looks fine to me-even your handwriting :)
Its gorgeous Clare. Well Done. Great theme. Your hand writing looks great. Always nice to have that personal touch. Oooh I am so after those new BG papers. You lucky girl. Enjoy.xx
AAAAh very funny story and sure to embarrass him when he is older.
Lovely layout. :)
Awe that made me smile! What a lovely LO and memory Clare! There is nothing wrong with your writing....you should see mine hahaha It all adds to the personal touch of the LO and will be treasured in years to come XXX
Super LO - wouldn't have thought it was your first x
Hi Clare... It was great to meet you on Saturday and hopefully you will be inspired to do more scrapping from now on! You'll be hooked before you know it! You did a great job on your page :)
Amanda x
PS the best bit about scrapbooking (compared to cardmaking) is that you get to keep your creations for yourself!
A great lo and well done on the first go. Your handwriting looks fine to me....it makes a layout more personal to add your own writing :) You can also print out your journaling from a computer, or create a pocket to hide it in :)
