October Scrapbook Class

These are the 2 12x12 layouts I made using this months kit - Simple Stories Acorn Lane. Both using the gorgeous autumn colours, the Oxford one has hidden journalling on the back with a photo of the unlovely looking hotel we stayed in.

Cruise Photo Album

I made this using the 49 and market Anywhere collection. I wanted to document each day of our Cruise and there are lots of tags and hidden journalling throughout.

Autumn Photo Album

I have loads and loads of projects to add after a long gap. Here is the Autumn photo album created at Loobis workshop using the 49 and market Artoptions Spice collection. Its not quite finished as I want to add a few more photos later but this is the result of quite a few hours work, and printing out different sized photos using my 'Selphy'

Cards fpr all Occasions

Saturday February 18th there was an all day card class at Loobis and we made 6 cards with different themes. We also received the triangles background stamp and the circle stencil/mask to keep. I loved the brick embossing folder we used for the home sweet home card and also the brightly coloured inks. I have just spotted the get well soon card is upside down!

Enchanted

I had such fun creating these pages from the Enchanted collection by Kaisercrafts at the January Crop at Loobis. The first set of photos was taken on the Isle of Wight at Blackgang Chine in 2005. I used Julie Hickey alphabet dies for the title Dream and also on the next page Joy. I also used my leaf dies by Tim Holtz, these are so versatile and I've used them so much. Finally it all came together with the 49 and Market laser cut wildflowers that go so well with the paper collection. The second layout has another similar photo behind the door along with a bit of journalling. The last one consists of 2 of the same paper pattern cut to give a 3d effect.

Recent Cards

A few months ago I bought this versatile Wellie Boot stamp by Woodware. I have made these cards using it and I hope to be able to use it on Scrapbook pages at some point. I like bright colours and so I was able to use the Vicki Boutin papers sugar rush. These are quite girlie but I have also made a couple suitable for men with more muted colours which I will post later <

More Christmas Scrapping

These 2 layouts were made in the January Scrapbook day at Loobis using the Evergreen and Holly collection. I cut the HO Ho HOs from my alphabet dies and coloured and heat embossed them so they looked shiny. The one with tags had journalling on the back of each one, documenting my pre Xmas trip to London

Xmas Scrapping

These 2 layouts were made using 49 and Markets Holiday Wishes collection. We got a selection of the papers in the workshop and I bought the laser cut sheets as they complement them so well. This picture of Emma last Christmas dressed as an Elf - I did a fair bit of cutting out and added tags with jounalling on the back behind the cut out flowers. I also added sequins and some Wow ultra high embossing powders which you heat up from underneath to make it look a bit like snow. The leaves in the top corner are from the laser cut sheets. The second one is similar in that I have cut out the flowers and used sticky pads to add depth. The letters were from an old alpha sheet but everything else was from the collection.

Christmas 2022

Well that year went quickly! These are a batch of Christmas cards I made from the Graphic 45 Warm Wishes papers. I ordered them late November but the wrong ones were sent to me. I emailed Papermaze but the owner was away so I had to wait a few days for the correct ones to be sent. Then there was a postal strike so they arrived late - upshot is I didnt get these finished on time so they will be for next year. We haven't received many cards at all so far because there have been a lot of post strikes and people have just given up on sending them. I love the colours in these papers, bit of a shame about the sentiments (happy holidays etc) but they do look pretty.

Difficult

My lovley friend Janice who died this year. Strangely I dont have that many photos of her over the years. When we met up we used to 'talk for England'. I thought the black and white picture looked good against the riot of colour (vicki Boutin Colour Study) and I have mounted it on a flip flap where I have journalled about how and when we met.
Here is a page detailing the day out in Palma while we were on holiday in Majorca in September. It was hot hot hot.The papers were Kaisercraft from Loobis on the Scrapbook workshop. The letters are a die set by Julie Hickey.
And here we have the original Ipswich photo from 2010 when Jack was still with us. I have made a flap on the bottom left for the journalling

Here Comes Trouble

I don't really know why I used this title on my page, as these kids are no trouble at all, but it was Emmas cheeky look and the way she has her arm around her brother, I just thought it was apt. The photo was taken December 2021 at Venoteca Restaurant where we had a private room for our annual get together for Jacks anniversary. This year was excellent as we had missed 2020 due to covid, and there were a lot of us there. Some of us stayed overnight in a hotel so we could really go for it! I have put 2 smaller similar photos on tags in a pocket. I used Vicki Boutin paper and fussy cut some of the flowers.
